Tim (not his real name) and I had discussions about attending alternative education after being taken off the roll at college. After being at home for the better part of 4 months he had just started making progress and attending 2-3 days a week when Covid came.
Through Covid, communication was difficult, but Outwest gave him a phone which he was stoked about. He carries it everywhere and called his Nan the minute I gave it to him. Communicating is easier now and he often calls me to chat, when before he wouldn’t really communicate.
